I am a registered psychologist with over 13 years experience working as a psychologist. I enjoy treating trauma, depression, anxiety and dissociative disorders.
As a psychologist and animal lover I have also combined my two passions in Animal Assisted Therapy. I have worked in a mental health hospital setting, where I’ve treated diverse psychological problems with inpatients and outpatients.
I draw on a wide range of modalities to provide customised and evidence-based therapy. I see my clients holistically and enjoy supporting them beyond their symptoms; discussing emotional hygiene and regulation, equipping them with tools they can use beyond their therapy journey with me.

I started my career as a Psychologist in the public sector in a face to face role where I supported many people experiencing disability and complex social economic issues. I love the freedom that Telehealth gives clients, especially clients who find it challenging to leave home for any reason, be it because they are experiencing disability, cannot find child care, or simply prefer the comfort of familiar surroundings.
I also have experience supporting my clients with many issues, including Anxiety, Panic attacks, Depression, problems at work or study, relationship issues, stress and burn out, binge eating and self harm, along with supporting clients who are on complex medical and health journeys.
I like to describe my therapeutic approach as warm and collaborative. I have experience using several therapeutic approaches and I am upskilling my practise to better support people who identify as neurodivergent.

Hi, I’m Jonathan!
I grew up in Bangladesh and Papua New Guinea, spending time in Japan teaching English before returning to Australia. I have worked with refugee communities in Australia, within remote Aboriginal communities in Central Australia and Queensland, child and youth mental health services and with issues of homelessness.
As well as my position at Kind Grey Therapies, I work for the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Mt Isa Queensland providing remote mental health services in 8 different communities. I enjoy the variety of people I get to work with in my roles.
As a social worker I most enjoy working with complex systems of family and other dynamics as part of the ecological system surrounding an individual. I believe that the best outcomes are seen with this holistic approach to mental health. I look forward to being a part of your care team to support your patients.

Being emotionally healthy doesn’t mean you’re happy all the time. It means you’re aware of your emotions. You can deal with them, whether they’re positive or negative. Emotionally healthy people still feel stress, anger, and sadness. But they know how to manage their negative feelings.
Changes, and especially difficult changes, can influence personal growth, and dealing with a change successfully may leave one stronger, more confident, and better prepared for what comes next in life.
Treatment isn’t just for one person — even if that’s the only member of the family working with the therapist. Instead, the focus is on the set of relationships that impact your emotional environment. Working on yourself and your relationships can improve the quality of your interpersonal connections, as well as your own mental health.
Crisis therapy aims to get a person to a place and feeling of safety, minimising the immediate threat. This type of therapy is short-term, meant to keep the person or others from further harm, making dangerous decisions, or having a mental breakdown, which can further escalate the crisis.
Therapy provides a confidential space for people to express themselves, seek support, and identify changes they need to make to reduce stress. Therapy also helps people learn additional ways to manage stress on their own and build on their own "tool kit".
